The Finn accalerator program, Startup Sauna is coming to Budapest again to shake up the Budapest startup scene. Startup Sauna Local Events take place two months prior to the accelerator program in 20+ cities within Nordics, Eastern Europe and Russia. Since 2012, they pick up all the best startups on their way of the CEE and Baltic region. You need a proof? Last year, a Hungarian online advertising fraud filter company, Enbrite.ly was the one to successfully participate in the Startup Sauna five-week accelerator in Helsinki. They took home the winners of Startup Sauna award, won a trip to the Silicon Valley and triumphed Slush 100 as well.
Startup Sauna is organising together with Invendor and takes place two months prior to the accelerator program in 20+ cities within Nordics, Eastern Europe and Russia. The events are organized together with local accelerators, co-working spaces and/or universities.
The schedule of the program
The scheme program for all local events look like this: the applicants will pitch in front of investor coaches coming from Helsinki and given country. In the afternoon, the selected teams will receive coaching in a 1 on 1. The winners will get the chance to be part of the Startup Sauna Autumn ’15 – a one month accelerator program.
